S – Situation – the business has identified a need for a development programme/training intervention to help achieve a key strategic ambition for example – culture change, developing top leaders or addressing a current knowledge gap or skill deficiency (this could be selection and recruitment, customer engagement or managing change, for example).
T – Task – Janice Clare Consultancy will engage and meet with the client in the first instance, to discuss what issues and challenges they face and build a deep understanding of what the requirements are. This activity is crucial, as only once we have an in-depth understanding of the goals are we in a position to offer a programme designed and tailored to that clients specific needs.
A – Action – during the initial consultation, ideas and solutions can be recommended. Most often a pilot programme will be designed, delivered and evaluated (any investment needs to bring about results for the people and the business).
R – Result – a successful pilot that addresses the needs of both the business and the individuals, achieving a specific strategic ambition or addressing a skill deficit. This training and development is subsequently rolled out across the business as appropriate. Often this is done in partnership with the OD function, developing and training internal colleagues to take on and run the programme into the future.
S – Spin offs – bespoke quality training and development programmes, which make a difference to the way you do business and how you develop/equip your workforce. Examples would be :-
Influencing with impact
Presentation skills
Selection and recruitment
Developing your coaching culture
Coaching skills for managers
Mentoring for success
Dynamic appraisal
Leadership development
Positive perspectives
