I believe in developing potential and enabling others – every person is an individual and has the ability to achieve great things. During my career – delivering and utilising coaching skills – I have been lucky enough to work with and alongside some amazing people. Professionally I have coached at all levels from college graduates and interns to senior board directors, from elite athletes to pioneering professors, and everyone in-between.
On a personal level, through voluntary work, I have used my skills to coach people who have suffered severe spinal trauma, helping them through some extremely difficult life-choices. Coaching has enabled these individuals to engage with rehabilitation programmes and establish progress measures, which has resulted in full recoveries.
There is no fixed route to achieving your goals, we all have skills and expertise to bring to the table. Some skills come more naturally than others, some require direction and development. This is where Janice Clare Consultancy can help – as an impartial external resource, bringing clarity, fresh thinking and a different perspective will benefit any individual or team.
It is my unique privilege to explore skills, behaviours, habits (both good and bad) and life-choices. I build a very special relationship with my clients, this is the most important part of my role as a coach. I work closely with people, learning about their hopes and aspirations, establishing trust and understanding, discussing and agreeing how a coaching relationship will best suit them, their situation and how working together we can deliver the solution they desire.
Every person I engage with will be reassured to know that it is my duty to always operate professionally within the industry recommended code of ethics set out by the Association for Coaching, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the International Coaching Federation. Basically anything that is discussed between us, remains between just us – no information is ever passed on or shared.
